Jessica is active in several food safety initiatives at the state and federal level. Jessica is a member of the Northeast Food and Drug Officials Association (NEFDOA) and sits on the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) Food Recovery Committee. “Participating in the IFPTI Fellowship was such a uniquely invaluable experience. I don’t think there is anything else that could replace it. Beforehand, I knew what I did every day to promote food safety, but through the Fellowship, I saw how my piece fit into the greater food safety puzzle. I wish I could say it was all work, but the Fellowship also gave me a group of dear friends. The IFPTI mentors and co-fellows became like family, and I look forward to every opportunity to see them again.”
