Assistant Dean/Executive Director, University of Central Florida

Serves in an advisory role to the Dean, Associate Deans, and Department Chairs in the development and administration of undergraduate programs and policies, and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of associated administrative support services for 8500+ undergraduate students. Provides leadership for the Office of Professional Development staff which is charged with achieving the strategic goals and desired outcomes of the College. Duties also include supervision of 20+ professional administrative and related support staff.

Also serves as Executive Director of the College of Business' Office of Graduate Programs (OGP), including administrative oversight of 9 graduate degree programs, 14 cohorts, and 400+ students. Specific duties include; program development and marketing, recruitment/selection, academic advising, student support services, Center profitability, supervision of 7 professional administrative staff, community engagement/outreach, faculty staffing, and corporate partnership development.

CEO and Principal Consultant for a multifaceted consultancy which provides strategic, real world solutions for organizations of every size and complexity. Specific areas of expertise include executive and personal success coaching, leadership development, customized trainings, organizational capacity building, strategic planning facilitation, culture transformation, project/program evaluation, and group dynamics facilitation.

A seasoned administrator, skilled speaker, and convener of a variety of professional development activities, he has published several books and numerous articles in scholarly refereed counseling and management related publications and/or journals. His academic preparation includes a doctorate and masters degree from Western Michigan University, masters degree from Grand Valley State University, and bachelors degree from Michigan State University. Satisfied the requirements of the National Board of Certified Counselors as a National Certified Counselor, earned certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan and Ohio.
