IFPTI Instructor Skills Training (IST) course was established on the concept that adult learners seek out strategic benefits in the courses they take, making use of their own prior knowledge while gaining proven, real-world tools that can be used in their professional roles. IST creates an interactive environment in which adult learners can grow and thrive.

During this course, participants will engage with 20 vital instructor skills, with particular emphasis placed upon demonstration, facilitation, and presentation.

This particular skills platform is built upon a foundation of concrete examples and examinations of their practical use; and these skills are explored using hands-on activities, instructor-led dialogue sessions, virtual platform technologies, and individual concept formation through post-activity reflection writing.

In an environment where traditional classroom-based training is quickly moving online, this 4-hour live online training will highlight key features of facilitating live online, demonstrate how to manage online technology, and applying your existing course content to an online-friendly application - making it worthy of your learners’ time.  

A 4-hour interactive session on tips, tricks, and best practices for live online technology training, and for managing the behind-the-scenes mechanics of the Zoom training platform. Participants will gain functional resources and best practices for delivering live online training.

Participants will be expected to complete pre-course assignments and bring a section of a traditional classroom course they deliver and the course has a maximum 12 participants.
