IFPTI is working with the Department of Agriculture in many states to provide enrollment for specialty crop personnel (growers, packers, and processors) into the Listeria Control Specialist program, the Enteric Viruses Control Specialist program, or both. Funding for these enrollments was made possible through the USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant program.

We are currently looking for specialty crop personnel in Oregon to enroll in the online program at no cost. Those who complete the training – which is available in both English and Spanish - will be formally recognized as the “go to” person for helping control Listeria and/or Enteric Viruses within their facilities.

Upon successful completion of either program, learners will receive a Specialist certificate.

If you are a specialty crop personnel in one of these states, complete an application to see if you are eligible to receive this online training at no cost.
