In July, the Dairy Subject Matter Expert Group built out the National Curriculum Standard (NCS) for Basic Level Regulators of Dairy on-Farm and Grade "A" Milk Processing facilities.

This month, the Dairy Group will start building out the NCS for Advanced Level Regulators.

The National Curriculum Standard comprises the competencies (knowledge, skills, and abilities) needed by Regulators for successful job performance, along with behavioral anchors, which help demonstrate the competencies.

The Dairy Group includes representatives from FDA, CFSAN, and State regulatory agencies.

Building out the National Curriculum Standard (NCS) for regulators of human and animal food is part of IFPTI's Cooperative Agreement (1U18FD007047) with FDA's Office of Training Education and Development.
