IFPTI & AFDO visit the Captiol

Over two days in March, AFDO board members, including IFPTI’s Executive Director, met with the offices of several members of Congress to discuss the work that state and local programs accomplish in food safety. They answered questions from Congressional staff and discussed information sharing, cooperative agreement durations under FSMA, and federal resources provided to state and local programs.  Representative Rosa DeLauro from Connecticut took time to meet and take a photo with the delegation.
