NFSA 190.png

IFPTI, in partnership with Venture 37 TAIB project, delivered Food Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Application, and Evidence Development remotely to food inspectors from Egypt's National Food Safety Authority (NFSA). This train-the-trainer course was based on FDA content and will enable these instructors to train the growing NFSA food safety workforce that is anticipated to expand to 2,000 NFSA inspectors.

NFSA is Egypt's first unified food safety authority. It was established by the Egyptian parliament in 2017 and has authority for all for all domestically produced and imported food items.
