Assessing Seafood Sanitation Practices: Sanitary Facilities and Controls
This module features a series of interactive simulations where the learner is asked to inspect seafood processing facilities for compliance with relevant sanitary facilities and controls regulations. The module features virtual 360-degree tours of several seafood processing facilities in which participants gain experience through guided knowledge checks. This module was developed in collaboration with regulatory professionals experienced with seafood HACCP and sanitation control procedures.
By the end of the module, learners will be able to locate the sanitary facilities regulation in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR); inspect seafood facilities for compliance with the sanitary facilities regulations; and identify non-compliance with the sanitary facilities regulations.
