APHL Lab Framework Update

IFPTI continues its collaboration with the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) on the buildout of the Laboratory Curriculum Framework (LCF). During the week of April 11th, IFPTI facilitated a series of workshops and developed a competency-based blueprint for Advanced Gas Chromatography for the mid-level (advanced) laboratorians. The workshops involved subject matter experts (SMEs) representing FDA, FDA CFSAN, and state laboratories.

The next series of workshops will take place in from May 9-12, and will focus on the buildout of the Radiochemistry mid-level content area. Additional SME workshops are also scheduled for June.
