FDA Insights at the FSPCA Annual Conference

We’re excited to share two FDA speakers who will highlight the FSPCA Annual Conference on November 19-20 in Burr Ridge, IL. Erik P. Mettler will keynote this year’s FSPCA Annual Conference. With his extensive experience in strengthening an integrated food safety system, Mr. Mettler will provide key insights into how your company can collaborate within the FDA's new Human Foods Program. Glenn Bass will be presenting an FDA perspective on human food at the conference.

Erik P. Mettler is the Assistant Commissioner for Partnerships in the FDA’s Human Foods Program (HFP), Office of Integrated Food Safety System Partnerships (OIFSSP).

Glenn Bass serves as the Deputy Program Director of the Office of Human and Animal Food Operations (OHAFO), West in the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The Tuesday breakout session will provide the food safety community with an inside look at the FDA’s implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
