Steering Committee formed for the Global Food Safety Knowledge Hub

An international steering committee has been assembled to enhance global food safety by providing an accessible, comprehensive, and up-to-date repository of food safety information, education and training resources for professionals, educators, and regulators worldwide. This Global Food Safety Knowledge Hub aims to be the premier global platform for collecting, curating, and sharing food safety training and education resources as well as promoting networking among food safety professionals in the global arena. The mission is to enhance global food safety capacity by ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the up-to-date science-based information, best practices, education and training resources sourced from leading universities, government and nongovernmental organizations, industries, and international organizations.

The steering committee members include:

  • Dr. Rebeca Lopez, University of Costa Rica
