Cohort X: Week Two Update

Cohort X completed Week 2 of the Fellowship in Food Protection last week. The virtual week saw Fellows take on the role of program managers as they designed an organizational chart creating an integrated food safety system for the fictional country of Solaris. Fellows also had the opportunity to practice negotiation skills with stakeholders, learn critical management skills and testify in court as expert witnesses. Week 3 of the Fellowship is scheduled to take place in-person in Kalamazoo in April. By that time Fellows will also be wrapping up their research projects and preparing to present them at the annual Association of Food and Drug Officials Annual Meeting in Phoenix in June.
