Featured Fellow: Catching up with Jodi Taylor

Jodi Taylor was a member of Cohort II.

At that time, she was an Agriculture Inspection Manager with the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Division of Meat Inspection.  Her focus was on staff training and managing the Division’s sampling program.

In 2013, she was promoted to an Ag Inspection Administrator with the Division of Meat Inspection and served in that capacity until 2015, when she took a position as the Assistant Chief of the Division of Food Safety with ODA. Jodi has served as a committee co-chair for the AFDO Food Committee and is also a member of NCAFDO. She currently serves as the NCAFDO representative for the Manufactured Food Regulatory Program Alliance.

Currently, she continues as the Assistant Chief of Food Safety.  In this role, she is responsible for managing Division staff, conducting enforcement actions and overseeing recalls, updating rules, and acting as a liaison to other ODA Divisions, FDA and the regulated community.

"My experience as an IFPTI Fellow has proven invaluable, both in progressing my career and in all of the lifelong relationships and friendships I have made along the way!” - Jodi Taylor
