Human and animal food protection professionals who are newly hired in a Federal, state, local, tribal or territorial (SLTT) feed/food protection program. These individuals have developed their investigational and communications knowledge and skills through formal education, training courses, and on-the-job-training activities, often working with more experienced inspectors.
