Food Systems Hazards
The Food System Hazards bundle includes Allergens, Biosecurity, Biological Hazards, Environmental Hazards, Public Health Principles. All five courses are developed with FDA to align to the IFSS basic level and are online, self-paced courses. Here is a brief description of each course (click on title for more information):
Allergens
The IFSS Basic Level Allergens course provides overview of food allergens, including labeling requirements, preventive controls, and societal impact.
Goal: Participants will be able to recognize the control of allergens in relation to food safety.
Scope: Topics in this course include Foundations, Labeling Requirements, and Control Measures.
Biosecurity
